Збірник вміщує статті, присвячені розгляду традиційно-побутової та духовної культури Середньої Наддніпрянщини від найдавніших часів до сьогодення. Висвітлюються проблеми археологічних, історико-етнографічних та етнографічно-мистецтвознавчих досліджень, вивчення етнографічних колекцій та музеєзнавчих розвідок. У збірник увійшли доповіді та повідомлення науково-практичної етнографічної конференції «Середня Наддніпрянщина: матеріальна і духовна культура», яка проводилася 13-14 червня 2008 року.
