У статті розглядаються питання історії та перспектив дослідження Єпископської брами Переяславля Руського, вводяться до наукового обігу не опубліковані матеріали, отримані в ході археологічних досліджень цієї споруди.=The bishop gate of Pereyaslavl Rusky historical questions and research prospects are under review of this article. Not published materials found out during the archaeological investigations of this building are put into the scientific usage.
