The article is dedicated to the study on the problem of forming health preserving competency of future occupational safety and health specialists under the new sociocultural conditions. In the scientific development we considered theoretical aspects of forming health preserving competency of future occupational safety and health specialists and specified the concepts of competency, professional competency, health preserving competency.

Розглядаються теоретичні аспекти формування здоров’язбережувальної компетентності майбутніх фахівців із охорони праці, конкретизовано поняття «компетентність», «професійна компетентність», «здоров’язбережувальна компетентність».
